Rudy is owned by Diane and Woody Harris of Sheradin Schipperkes.  They say that his name (SoulMan) is prefect for him, as he has soulful eyes and a sweet nature.  As a pup he attended the 2000 SCA National, taking 1st the 9 to 12 month Futurity class, with his litter brother taking second, and 4th in the same class in Sweeps.  He went on to finish his championship at 10 months of age.  Early in his specials career he won a couple of group placements, and two Award of Merits at the Texas Specialty, and a group one.
In the year 2000, Rudy's parents were top stud dog and top brood bitch in the Nation, and he was the only dog (that finished that year) that the two had in common.  Rudy has sired 6 champions to date, including two Specialty winners (WD and WB/BOS), a group placing daughter, and he has more puppies on the way to his championship.
Since coming out as a mature special, Rudy has won more group placements, including back to back group firsts in May of 2007!  In 2009, Rudy won a Best in Specialty at the Colonial Specialty with his owner/handler Chris Pavan.  Since he is co-owned by the Harris', Rudy also retired the trophy!
