Hoye was a Schipperke artist who was also a Schipperke breeder, being Fairlaur
Perm. Reg. kennels in Canada. She bred many top winning Schipperkes.
She sketched this Schip head on a note paper, and after her death Koreen Brown
used it to create a logo for the CKC Schipperke club. It first appeared on
a memorial issue of a special newsletter put together in Fran's memory.
Fran Hoye had been a founding member of the
Schipperke Club in Canada (founded 1965). Fran had collected photos, articles,
artwork etc on the Schipperke for 40 plus years. She had photo albums on
almost every Schipperke kennel in Canada and the dogs owned by various
people."
