Ch Kurakuma's Dare the Legend
CD RN CGC
MPS111B normal by parentage
Mitanni finished at 1 year and 4 days old with three majors. He took a Group 1
at his only match, and 4th of 17 is the Colonial Specialty '98. The most
wonderful thing about Mitanni is his exceptional temperament - he is calm, but not
sluggish, and always looks for love. He is well-mannered and quiet, but always busy
looking. He was very easy to train to show - we almost didn't have to do a
thing!
Mitanni has also worked in obedience. He was my first dog to compete in
obedience with, and he was an easy boy to train. We got his second leg with a score
of 189, a class placement of first, and we got his last leg and CD at the Southern
Michigan Schipperke Club's 2000 Specialty, with a score of 183. To our surprise, he
tied for 10th place in the SCA Top Obedience rankings for the year 2000.
Then, as an old man, Mitanni entered the ring again - this time the Rally ring!
In short order, Mitanni achieved his "Rally Novice" title with his owner, Pat
McClain.
Mitanni comes from a very potent combination - out of 5 puppies total, 4 finished,
Mitanni and a sister have an obedience title, and
another of his sisters has a performance leg
in agility. The
last brother has not been working in any performance events
yet... (though he has the temperament
for it)
Mitanni has one litter on the ground - three girls! They are still very young
yet, but we are very pleased with them. One is already pointed - his daughter Kady took a 5 point major by going Winner's Bitch and Best of
Winner's at the St Louis Specialty!
