Brithiach of Earlymoon

This is the puppy with the strange name.... actually, like some of his sibs, it comes from Tolkien's Lord of the Rings series, and it means, quite simply, "The ford over the northern reaches of the River Sirion, north of the Forest of Brethil on the margins of Dimbar."  So if it isn't the name of a mighty warrior, or wise king, why did I choose it?  I just liked it.  He is called him "Brith", which doesn't sound like it would make such a great call name, but to our surprise not only did he like it, so did every other puppy in the litter and they would all come to it.  Go figure!  His registered name is pronounced (by us) as "Brith - i (long and accented) - ah - k".  Sometimes, because he has such a wonderful amount of body and chest, we call him "Brith-e-ox" <VBG>.
Brith has a lovely silhouette combined with good movement.  He is a rich fawn color.  He appears to be a larger dog than he is, because he has all the body and bone you could want, but he is actually only 25 and one quarter inches to the shoulder, which is medium height for a male Tervuren.  He has a scissors bite and complete dentition, beautiful masking and a nice ear set - when he chooses to use his ears, that is!  He has a level topline and a long, long tail, a short back and good angulation.
Brith has had his hips "checked" for any signs of HD, and it looks like he will be an OFA good some day.  He is owned and loved by Sara Braun, and co-owned by Laura Maxim of Maximum Belgians.  He will be shown in conformation, and trained in obedience and agility.
